For a quick start and a healthy fermentation try making up a
quick yeast starter at the start of
the brew day to wake up the yeast and get it healthy, active and ready to go to
work on the wort.

Sprinkle the contents of the yeast sachet onto 2fl/oz
or 50 ml of pre-boiled
water, cooled to 30-35 deg c and cover with a sanitised plate or foil.

Mix 4 tbsp of Spray Malt with 1/4 pt luke warm water,
once dissolved top up with 3/4 pt of boiling water and zap in microwave until it
boils. Cover with a plate and cool to 25 deg c. Placing it in cold water will speed the process.
Try adding a pinch of Brupaks Yeast Vit (using the end of a sanitised
teaspoon)
before putting in the microwave to provide a really good enviroment for the
yeast.
Wait for a moment before removing from the microwave as hot spots could cause
the wort to boil over.

After 20-30 mins the yeast should have re-hydrated and formed
a creamy foam,
if not discard and use a new yeast, Safale and Danstar Yeast both work well.

Mix the two together,

add to a suitable container and shake well to aerate. Loosen the cap after shaking to allow the co2 to
escape and allow the yeast to ferment
out the sugars, multiply and become develop a healthy colony.
